Identification must be checked for anyone who appears under the age of thirty (30) years old EVERY TIME. Valid forms of identification accepted at the General Motors Centre, in accordance with the Smart Serve Workbook, include the following:

  • Drivers License (temporary license included, accompanied by proper paperwork)
  • Passport
  • Citizenship Card
  • Canadian Armed Forces Identification Card
  • Bring Your Identification (BYID) Card issued by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario
  • Liquor License Board of Ontario ID Card (no longer issued but accepted as valid ID)
Please Note:
  • A valid “temporary” driver’s license includes; the actual physical driver’s license with a sticker deeming it temporary, and also the necessary paperwork from the Ministry of Transportation. This temporary license is valid for only 30 days after the date of expiry.
  • Health Cards and expired forms of the above pieces of ID are not recognized as a valid form of identification and must not be accepted
  • Unattended alcohol may be thrown out at the discretion of General Motors Centre employees
  • Patrons may not be in possession of more then 2 alcoholic beverages of any size at anytime.
